Global Peace Day
( Excerpts from Guru Mahan's Spiritual Discourse at Malaysia regarding Global Peace Day) Sath Guruveh Charanam!
Santhosam! Santhosam! Santhosam!
My Beloved Divine Souls! Global warming should abate. All living beings on this earth must live happily. To ensure this Global Peace Day is to be celebrated on 11-11-2011 which is the centenary Dawn of Wisdom Day of H.H.G.P.M. Paranjothi Mahan, founder of Universal Peace Foundation.
Paranjothi Mahan at the age of 11, in 1911, got a noble
thought to realise God who is greater than all kings. Due to that thought he became Paranjothi Mahan. That very day when he realised wisdom is celebrated as dawn of wisdom day and Global Peace Day. When anyone gets a good thought due to Mahan's noble thought, he achieves individual peace. Through individual peace, Global Peace is achieved step by step -family peace, communal peace, national peace and ultimately Global Peace.
So only Paranjothi Mahan founded Universal Peace Sanctuary and initiated everyone to realise God, the ultimate truth. He wished that everyone should realise Godly state, realise himself, and the philosophy of this world. He wanted to explain all these to all people who have an urge for this.

The aim of knowledge is to realise God, the ultimate truth. All vedas, and the scriptures insist that all must realise the sole thing which is everything.
Only one element is in the form of everything. When anyone realises that basic element it equalizes the realisation of everything. That basic element was named as Kundalini Power by our ancestors.
Kundalini Power is the only thing which is in the form of everything. This Kundalini power which is the basic power in everyone, when activated, retains the health of the individual. His mind also becomes healthy. His knowledge becomes talents. When those talents emerge, he gets wealth. An inidvidual attains wholesome health.
A great saint has said that rain will occur for the sake of good people and it will benefit the whole world. The poet says that even one good soul can bring prosperity to the whole world. All people know what is good. All these good souls must be united. When the people, who have mercy for this whole world, who have the good thought of prosperity for this world, are united, a very big peace will be created and thereby the whole world becomes peaceful.
All of us often have the thought " How will be the future world?" Considering the acid rain and other natural calamities which are occuring now, we can predict that the future world is facing threats of destruction. There are lesser chances for its prosperity. Having this prosperity of the world in mind, after the I world war in 1919, people created a Global Peace Day to ensure that there should not be any more war in this world. But when the IInd world war broke out all forget this Global Peace Day. It is our duty to remind the mankind what it has forgotten. A man may be a politician, a spiritualist, a doctor or an advocate, but what everyone needs is peace and only peace. Our mind functions in four states, conscious, subconscious, unconscious and pure conscious. Many wonderful talents are hidden in the pure conscious mind. Only when a person reaches that pure conscious state he realises his "self", the true state. When he attains inner peace, it helps him to love everyone. Due to that, he achieves love for mankind and soul. When 1% of the total world population unite, and if their thoughts too unite, a drastic change will surely occur in this world. Only on this basis, the government of Malaysia has created the concept "Sath Malaysia". In Malaysia even though there is diversity on the basis of different languages, culture and creed, all people have the same one thought that they are Malaysians. This concept must bloom as good deeds. Scientist have foreseen that this world is going to undergo a drastic change after 21-12-2012. Yogam means to prevent calamites before they come. The mankind must live in peace in future. We have come to Malaysia with a strong resolution that peace must be created in everyone in this world in 2020 (ie) within 9 years from now. On the last fullmoon day the trustees, the Global Peace Committee came to Malaysia on behalf of Universal Peace Foundation. On 11.11.2011 which is the Global Peace Day, if 1% of the Malaysins unite and adhere silence for one minute, that silence will create a drastic change. An individual's good thought will surely become good deed. While giving a great thought to the humanity, if the thought and word are good the deed will also be good. The peace vibrations which are created from the capital of Malaysia will surely spread through out the country, then throughout all the other countries of the world and will surely create a drastic change. The Global Peace Committee has appointed Dr. Amir Farid Ishak (President, Inter-faith associations in Malaysia) as the president of the Global Peace Committee. We have met many eminent leaders of Malaysia regarding this Global Peace Day function. The chief ministers have promised their fullest cooperation for this function.
Through these four powerful lines let us render our ultimate service for global peace. Sprituality does not merely mean speaking, reading or hearing about it. It is a way of living. It helps to realise onself. It gives self discipline, self control, self respect and self development. All youth wish to develop themselves. All wish to be good and talented. They wish to attain greater heights in their lives. But they donot know the correct approach. They can achieve their goals only through love. Youth will not adhere to their father's words as he is strict. They will follow their mother's words as she is all loving. In a family, mother's words are respected more than father's words. Love reigns there. But now-a-days knowledge has more importance than love. People gain solutions due to their intuitions which they gain individually due to their own inner knowledge. All are intelligent. When we create good oppurtunites for a person, he will become great. All can become great due to good oppurtunities. Santhosam!
