GOKULASHTAMI CELEBRATION IN THE DIVINE SCHOOL
To impart the children the importance and significance of celebrating every festival, The Divine School is celebrating all the special festivals. In that line of celebration, The Divine School Celebrated the Gokulashtami on30th August, 2010. The School’s Meditation Hall was selected as the core place for the celebration and the hall was well preserved with cleanliness and fragrance.
Krishna Idol was kept for worship well decorated with flowers and other adorable things sufficiently brought by the children themselves. The staff and the children also brought eatable things as divine offerings to Lord Baby Krishna like, seedai, Murukku, Pongal, Kesari, Milk, Aval, butter and dhal as well as fruits varieties.
The function started with one minute meditation. Special slogans were recited by the staff and the children chanted along with the staff. The Principal G.Jayalakshmi elaborated the significance of the Gokulashtami to the children. The Divine staff Mrs. Parvathy and Devaki told the children the meaning behind the offerings of different dishes during this celebration.
All staff and children were so blessed to have Gurumahan’s Holiest Grace of Blessing message over phone from the Gnanapeedam during this auspicious day. So many children came very nicely dressed themselves like Krishna, Radhai as representing the divine quality from them.
The divine parents showed great self interest in sending their children dressed like Krishna and Radha. Four of those children gave divine songs on Krishna with their divine melody voice which was attracted by all the gatherings. Special pooja was performed and prasadams were distributed to all the divine selves participated the celebration including the children. Many parents came, enjoyed and worshiped Lord Krishna with divinity in the evening time.
This unique celebration was organized with integration and interest by the Divine Staff and the divine children of III Standard A & B section.
