GLOBAL PEACE DAY

At 11.11am on 11^th November 2011

The quest for Global Peace has proven elusive and is old as mankind.

Two Thousand Four Hundred years ago Socrates commented:

“ONLY THE DEAD HAVE SEEN THE END OF WAR”.

The absence of individual peace is perhaps the main cause for lack of global peace.

It was Gandhi who said:

“WHEN WE CHANGE, THE WORLD WILL CHANGE”.

Let the change start today within each of us to bring unity to all. Let Love, Compassion and Forgiveness form part of our daily lives, to bring Peace and Unity to this world. Unified action is extremely crucial as we face numerous global issues such as Global Warming, Climate Change, Pollution and Population Explosion. Love and Harmony are the foundation for peaceful Global co-existence. We have all been vested by the Almighty with a great duty in this world to bring peace and unite as one. To cite Astronaut Neil Armstrong “Our commitment is a small step for us individuals but a giant step for mankind’s quest for Global Peace”.

MISSION

To create awareness, if there is righteousness in the heart there will be beauty in character. If there is beauty in the individual there will be love and harmony at home. If there is love and harmony at home there will be unity in the community. When there is unity in the community there will be order in the Nation. When nations are in harmonious order there will be Global Peace.

Between now and November 11^th 2011 everyone who practices a minute’s silence at 11.11am daily, generates an energy and a quality of peace within them. The positive energy from within will be transmitted and thus produces an output of vibrations of peace that radiate like ripples on water.

It has been said that a journey of a thousand miles begins with one single step. Let us take the first step by inculcating in humankind, silence, love and harmony towards Global Peace by repeating the following:

I AM - PEACEKEEPER

I AM - FAMILY PEACEKEEPER

I AM - NATIONAL PEACEKEEPER

I AM - GLOBAL PEACEKEEPER

SO POWERFUL IS THE LIGHT OF UNITY AND LOVE THAT IT CAN ILLUMINATE THE WHOLE EARTH.
