Tremendous initiative in SEE Project !!!!!!!!

This is just to update on the Organic Farming Project done in Gadong School in Conjunction with Earth Day. The project will be ongoing thru 2010 - 2012. The seed of the idea was from the SEE project and we thought the one-day hype of Earth Day should become an ongoing project to inculcate the love for the Mother Earth in all children wherever they are.

This first Pilot Project was funded by TERFOM (Tamil Education & Research Foundation of Malaysia) – the Educational Aravarium founded by Sen Dato' Murugiah, Deputy Minister in the PM's Dept. MS Supriya Prasannan was the co-ordinator as well as MA Dr Saras and we liased with the Headmistress Ms Vasuki.

When Earth Day was observed all over the world on 22 April 2010, Universal Peace Foundation, Thirumurthi Hills took universal initiative and inaugurated SEE Project (Save Earth in Emergency) , to create awareness among the Global Population about the serious effects of Global Warming, to make them realize how a small, simple and responsible gesture from their side benefits the Earth in the macro level, to unite the entire Global population for this Earth-saving measure and to realize the continued benefits by turning the environment favorable and make this Earth, a harmonious place for inhabitance ONCE AGAIN.

WorkShop Conducted at Academy of Tami Arts & Technology, Toronto .

April 11, 2010

UPF Canada conducted a Work Shop about SEE Project at Academy of Tamil Arts and Technology on Sunday, April 11, 2010. Mrs. Thiyageswary Mahenthiran, Head of the Academy, nicely organized this work Shop for UPF Canada at her School

M.A. Suresh, Mei. Karthika Lingam and Mei. Paramalingam conducted the Work Shop and explained about the individual responsibilities and the importance of Saving our Mother Earth and handouts were issued at the end of the session.

Earth Day Celebration Chennai

EARTH DAY CELEBRATION

UNIVERSAL PEACE FOUNDATION, CHENNAI

Universal Peace Foundation, Chennai celebrated the Earth Day function at Suvasini Kalayanamandapam - East Tambaram on 22nd April 2010.

Ninety one (91) disciples participated in this function. Followed by the Irai Geetham Sarva Sakthi Siddhi Yagyam was conducted. Gurumahan gave his holy blessings over telephone.

Through the Power Point Presentation, the entire gathering were imparted the importance of the Mother Earth, on the Global Warming and the responsibility of every one to save our Mother Earth.

Dr.Subhash (Naturopathy) gave an excellent talk on the Pancha Bootha Thathuvas to add the awareness. All the participants took oath to observe the following to Save Our Mother Earth.

Avoid usage of Plastic Bags.

Using the fluorescent bulbs.

Plant and Grow more trees.

Avoid unnecessary usage of Motor Cycle / Car.

Vibrating the thought ‘Annai Boomi Needoozhi Vazhha' (‘Long Live Mother Earth’) daily in every meditation session.

Propagate the above points to relatives / friends / colleagues.

Irai prashsdham was distributed to all.
