The 22^nd April is observed as the “Earth Day” globally. In the eve of the “Earth Day”, SEE project calls for every responsible Human Being to express his/her commitment towards the Mother Earth. We can together pledge to adopt the following practices from now on so that we prevent the contamination of the wonderful Nature and Living Environment gifted to us by Mother Earth.

We promise our Mother Earth that we shall plant and grow more trees

We promise our Mother Earth that we shall reduce wastes and properly recycle them to utilize in some other means or form

• We promise our Mother Earth that we shall not use any product that is not recyclable
• We promise our Mother Earth we shall go Organic and avoid the usage of harmful chemicals for agriculture
• We promise our Mother Earth we shall conserve electricity by voluntarily shutting off the power supply in our homes/ organizations etc. for minimum an hour a day, getting used to the natural environment.

We promise our Mother Earth that we shall use only fluorescent bulbs and reduce the usage of Air-coolers/ heaters to control power consumption

We promise our Mother Earth that we shall carry a shopping bag with us while we shop and avoid polythene carry bags

We promise our Mother Earth we shall separate our daily wastes as recyclable and non-recyclable category

We promise our Mother Earth we shall not pollute our water bodies, rivers and the ocean

We promise our Mother Earth that our industrial sectors strictly abide by the pollution norms and not violate on any cause

We promise our Mother Earth that we shall walk /ride bicycles/ row boats wherever possible thereby reduce the usage of fuels

We promise our Mother Earth that we shall conserve our forest resources such as green trees, herbs, wildlife etc

We promise our Mother Earth that we shall not do the mining operation if the place is rich in vegetation.

We promise our Mother Earth we shall promote agriculture and stop converting agricultural lands into buildings

We promise our Mother Earth we shall harvest the rain water and utilize purposefully

We promise our Mother Earth we shall avoid going for deep bore-wells

We promise our Mother Earth that we shall utilize articles made of earthenware

We promise our Mother Earth that we shall propagate these practices to all our relatives, friends, colleagues and whomever we know

We promise our Mother Earth that we shall spread awareness among school and college students so that when we ultimately leave, we give the responsibility of taking care of our mother, to able and reliable hands
